Choose carefully! How to choose children's cosmetics scientifically?

During the summer vacation, many parents have made arrangements to take their children to participate in outdoor activities and enjoy parent-child interaction. Some children's cosmetics with cleansing, moisturizing, refreshing, especially sunscreen effects have been included in the parents' shopping list.
In order to help parents correctly understand, purchase and use children's cosmetics, and ensure the safety of children's makeup, the China Consumers Association and the Cosmetics Development Working Committee of the China Health Care Association issued consumption tips to remind parents that there are many chaos in the children's cosmetics market and they need to be cautious in purchasing.
In recent years, the cosmetics market has gradually shown a trend of continuous growth and younger age. On the market, lip gloss, lipstick, blush, nail polish, eye shadow, glitter, cosmetic cream, powder cake, puff and other children's cosmetics are dazzling.
However, the China Consumers Association pointed out that the children's cosmetics market has also exposed some problems, such as the production of children's cosmetics without a production license, the forging of the manufacturer's name and address, the illegal addition of hormones and anti-infective drugs, the declaration of "food-grade" cosmetics, and the sale of "Make-up toys" are easy to be used as children's cosmetics, which are not conducive to the safety and health of children.
Everyone knows that children's skin is delicate, and the wrong use of cosmetics such as skin care products can easily cause damage to children's skin. Then how should we choose cosmetics for children correctly?
What should you pay attention to when choosing cosmetics for children? There are 3 points to pay attention:
1. Should pay attention to whether the product is suitable for children, before buying new cosmetics, you can give children a "skin test".
First of all, do a small amount of smear on the middle and lower part of the inner forearm. After a period of time, observe whether the skin of the smear site is red and swollen, or whether there is itching, burning and tingling. If there is no abnormal phenomenon, then apply it to the part for normal use according to the instructions for use.
2. Don't let children use adult cosmetics at will. Some functional ingredients may be added to adult cosmetics, which will cause greater stimulation to children's skin.
3. Children should use cosmetics under adult supervision, make sure to follow the correct use of cosmetics. At the same time, cosmetics can not claim medical effects, nor can they replace drugs.
It is suggested that everyone should purchase children's cosmetics from regular channels. You can check whether the label identification information of the purchased cosmetics is consistent with the product registration or filing information by logging on the website of the State Food and Drug Administration or the "Cosmetics Supervision" APP. Also keep the product properly, and check whether the product is within the validity period, whether it is contaminated due to improper sealing, etc.
If the child does not feel well after using children's cosmetics, stop using the product immediately and pay attention to observation; if the symptoms do not improve, please see a doctor in time.
