The so-called flying catkins, refers to the floating catkins, flying catkins itself is a body positive small particulate matter, easily with breathing into the child's body. In severe cases, severe allergies such as laryngeal edema and anaphylactic shock can occur, which endanger the life of the child. Although the incidence is very low, it still needs to attract the attention of parents.
So how to prevent flying caused by allergies?Need to do the following aspects:
First, reduce contact: reduce outdoor activities, try not to go to places with flowers and trees, and try not to go out in windy weather. If you have to go out, wear long-sleeved clothes, wear a mask, and apply mild moisturizer to exposed skin to reduce contact with flying flocs.
Second, clean the environment: while cleaning the indoor sanitation frequently, the air purifier can be used synchronously to absorb allergens in the air, reduce the ventilation time of windows at home, and avoid drying clothes outdoors.
Third, pay attention to protection: after going out, dust removal tape can be used to stick off the flying flocs on clothes, clean exposed skin, clean nasal cavity with normal saline when necessary, and flush conjunctiva with sodium hyaluronate eye drops.
Fourth, early prevention: for children with moderate to severe allergies, they can seek medical treatment in advance before the arrival of the flying catkin season to assess whether montelukast sodium and other drugs can be added to prevent allergies.
