1. "small gold shield" is not a product quality certification mark
The "Regulations on the Supervision and Administration of Children's Cosmetics" implemented on January 1 this year stipulate that children's cosmetics should be marked with the children's cosmetics logo ("Xiaojindun") stipulated by the State Food and Drug Administration on the display surface of the sales package. "Little Golden Shield" is a distinctive sign that distinguishes children's cosmetics from other confusing products such as adult cosmetics, disinfection products, toys, etc. Non-children's cosmetics shall not be marked with this sign. It should be noted that China's strict supervision of children's cosmetics is mainly reflected in higher regulatory requirements for product formulation design, safety assessment and production conditions of children's cosmetics. Children's cosmetics before the market, in addition to sunscreen products must be registered, other categories of products must be filed. The label "Xiaojindun" on the cosmetic packaging only indicates that the product belongs to children's cosmetics, and does not mean that the product has been approved by the regulatory authorities or certified for quality and safety.

Children's cosmetics refer to cosmetics that are suitable for children under the age of 12 (including 12 years old) and have the effects of cleaning, moisturizing, refreshing, and sun protection. According to the announcement of the State Food and Drug Administration on the issuance of the "Regulations on the Supervision and Administration of Children's Cosmetics", starting from May 1, 2022, children's cosmetics that apply for registration or filing must be marked with "Little Golden Shield"; previously applied for registration or filing If children's cosmetics are not labeled in accordance with the regulations, the cosmetics registrant and filer shall complete the product label update before May 1, 2023. This means that more and more children's cosmetics marked "Little Golden Shield" will appear on the market; all children's cosmetics produced or imported after May 1, 2023 will be marked "Little Golden Shield".
