Nanyang News (Reporter Wang Ping) On July 22, Nanyang Xuanyi Environmental Protection Equipment Co., Ltd. donated 516000 yuan of flood relief funds to the Municipal Charity Federation. This was the first large amount of flood relief funds received by the Municipal Charity Federation. At the same time,SISLAN (Nanyang) Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.Also donated 200000 yuan by transfer.
Recently, our province has continued to experience heavy rainfall, Zhengzhou and other cities have experienced serious waterlogging, some rivers have exceeded the alarm water level, individual reservoirs have broken dams, some railways have been suspended, and flights have been canceled, causing major property losses. The flood control situation is very severe. After the disaster, the Municipal Charity Federation took the lead in opening 2021 flood relief donation accounts and hotlines throughout the city. Social caring enterprises and people have responded positively and have received donations of 1.3 million yuan.
The relevant person in charge of the Municipal Charity Federation said that at present, it is the flood season, and the task of flood control and disaster relief is extremely severe, which requires the extensive participation of the whole society. The Municipal Charity Federation calls on caring units, enterprises and people to act quickly to participate in loving donations to help the affected people rebuild their homes and resume production and life as soon as possible. The Municipal Charity Federation will strictly follow the relevant requirements of the "Charity Law", send the donated money and materials to the disaster area in a transparent, open and fair manner, and accept social supervision.
