Among them, there is such a photo telling the warm story of the 1990 s. 1998 is a year that will be remembered forever in the history of the Chinese people. In addition to the four worst-hit provinces of Jiangxi, Hunan, Hubei, and Heilongjiang, a total of 29 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) across the country have suffered from floods to varying degrees, with a disaster area of 0.318 billion mu and a disaster area of 0.196 billion mu, with 0.223 billion people affected, 4150 deaths, 6.85 million houses collapsed, and a direct economic loss of 166 billion yuan. Eight flood peaks followed one after another. Shishou was in urgent need, Wuhan was in urgent need, Jingzhou was in urgent need, Jiujiang was in urgent need, Daqing was in urgent need, Harbin was in urgent need... .. In times of crisis, time is life! Many people's soldiers rushed to the front line of flood fighting and used their flesh and blood to form steel lines of defense to protect the safety of the people. Many officers and soldiers went upstream, and their bodies were immersed in the turbid and turbulent flood all day and night. Even if their skin began to fester, they still stuck to the front line of flood fighting. The sudden flood disaster and the trembling figures also affect the hearts of Xishlan people all the time. SISLAN was eager to do something for the front-line officers and soldiers, but at that time in 1998, the communication equipment was not perfect, the information was isolated, and the impact of floods caused great difficulties in the delivery of materials. How to help front-line officers and soldiers and contribute to flood fighting and disaster relief is the answer that SISLAN people need to know urgently. After many inquiries, SISLAN got in touch with the 20th Army Group Army of the Army through the Nanyang Regional Army Support Office. After learning about the actual needs of the army, he immediately began to arrange the factory to work overtime to produce disinfection and skin care products such as talcum powder and Baixiao Cream, and finally assembled two trucks of rescue supplies to the front line. In this flood fighting and rescue operation, SISLAN donated more than two million yuan in total. On September 20, the "Yangtze River Flood Fighting and Rescue Commendation Conference of the 20th Army Group Army" was held in Kaifeng. The senior leaders of SISLAN were invited to attend the celebration and were cordially received by the chief. The heavy award is the best commendation for the spirit of "coexistence with society and serving society" of SISLAN people. In July this year, there was a sudden rainstorm disaster in Henan Province. The SISLAN people who came forward 23 years ago once again stood up and donated money to Zhengzhou and Kaifeng Charity Federation in time to help the victims tide over the difficulties. In the golden autumn of October, senior leaders of SISLAN were invited to visit Kaifeng and were cordially received by Gao Jianjun, secretary of the Kaifeng Municipal CPC Committee, and Li Xiangyu, mayor of Kaifeng. Twenty-three years later, SISLAN people came to this thousand-year-old capital again. Behind the honors and awards is SISLAN's sense of social mission. “我们亚洲，山是高昂的头。我们亚洲，河像热血流~” 提起1990年的北京亚运会，这首《亚洲雄风》可能是一代亚运人最深刻的记忆了。 当时的中国，改革开放的春风滋养着大地，中国人民迫不及待地想要向世界展现出欣欣向荣的崭新面貌，彻底摆脱东亚病夫的帽子。可是此时中国的商品经济刚刚起步，举办亚运会资金短缺是一大问题，各方筹备之后仍有六亿的资金缺口。 怎么办？民间集资！ 强烈的爱国主义热情促使社会各界、海内外华人华侨都行动了起来，人人都是参与者，人人都是亚运人。 这时，南阳市政府也接到了上级筹集资金的指令，号召南阳市的各大企事业单位行动起来，为筹建亚运会贡献力量。 西施兰公司得知这一消息后，第一时间与筹委会取得了联系，公司尽其所能拿出了15万元，随后又捐出2万元，同时又为亚运会捐赠上百套西施兰夏露和西施兰爽足粉，是第一批参与捐款且数额较大的企业。 1990年6月14日，在距北京亚运会100天之际，西施兰联合企业有限公司挂出了中华人民共和国国旗、亚奥理事会会旗和90年亚运会会旗，表明西施兰人助力亚运会的决心，引得无数过往行人驻足。 亚运会筹委会给予了西施兰较高的评价及肯定，除在主赛场和足球赛场的甲等位置上设置西施兰广告牌外，还把西施兰夏露和西施兰爽足粉作为亚运会指定用品。 1990年10月21日，南阳日报刊登了《自豪的西施兰人》报道文章。 文章中这样写道：“在亚运会主会场西门背景台右边的黄金位置，高大的‘西施兰’三个字白底蓝体显得那样的气派，她白得耀眼，蓝的炫目，那气魄，那场面，真让西施兰人骄傲，真让南阳人自豪，也令外人刮目相看。” 在这场各国人民关注的盛会上，西施兰顺利完成了它的使命。作为河南省唯一一家获得亚运会指定产品殊荣的中外合作企业，西施兰系列产品名噪一时，不仅在国内市场销量领先，在国外市场也得到了众多消费者的青睐。 目光再次回到这场亚运会上，中国选手最终不负众望，一共获得183枚金牌，占金牌总数的59%，打破一项世界纪录，30次创亚洲纪录。 这些辉煌成就极大地鼓舞了民族自信心和自豪感，证明了国家实力，在以后的所有亚运会，中国都取得了金牌、奖牌榜第一名。 在那个经济并不发达的年代，是什么支撑着这场盛会的成功举办？ 《觉醒年代》里辜鸿铭老先生演讲中的这一段话就是最好的回答：“我们中国人身上，有其他任何民族都没有的、难以言喻的东西，那就是温良。温良是一种力量，是一种同情和人类智慧的力量。” 正是这种骨子里的温良，孔夫子的儒家思想经久不衰；正是这种骨子里的温良，无数先烈唱响实现中华民族伟大复兴的英雄赞歌；也正是这种骨子里的温良，在历经世界未有之大变局的今天，我们向世界发出了构建人类命运共同体的最强音！ 历史已经远去，精神永不磨灭。如果说西施兰人从这场亚运会上收获到了什么？我想，它为这家刚成立不到5周年的中外合资企业埋下了一颗种子，那便是企业家精神的核心——社会责任。 今天的西施兰，经过四十年的风雨洗礼，奉行“与社会公存，为社会服务”的宗旨，热心公益事业，履行社会责任，像北京亚运会的热烈盛大一样，焕发出勃勃生机，向下一个四十年奋勇迈进。
